1. Each league will play an official schedule as determined by the Board.

2. The Board shall assign individuals to determine whether games are to be postponed due to weather or ground conditions. Notification of the games shall be called at the fields and posted on the GYB website. Unless notified, all games should be played as scheduled.

3. Umpires and/or Board member(s) present will immediately call games because of severe weather or lightning. Only these individuals have the authority to call off a game once that game has started.

4. Time Limitations. To reasonably maintain schedules time limits are imposed at each division. No new inning will be started after the stated time limit for each league. Time limits are imposed even if there are no games immediately scheduled on the same field after the current game, at any division. The umpire must record the actual starting time of all games and so inform both managers.

5. A game, which is not a regulation game according to Section 11 of the Official Rules of Pony Baseball, and which is suspended by the umpire, will continue from the point of suspension. The home team manager must report to the League Representative for the purpose of rescheduling the game that has been suspended. The only exceptions will be games which have reached their time limit and are still incomplete. In those cases the following will apply, even if the game is less than four innings:

• The team that leads at the end of the last completed inning will be declared the winner.
• If the home team takes the lead during the last inning, and that inning is not completed, they will be declared the winner.
• If the home team ties the game during the last inning, and that inning is not completed, the game will be declared a tie.

6. Rescheduled games must take place as soon as the schedule permits, as assigned by League Schedule Director. Rescheduled games will be bound by the pitching rules in effect in the week in which the games are played.

7. Recommended number of games per level. This is to be used as a guide only. Exact numbers will depend on number of teams: Shetland, Pinto 6 & Pinto 7 – 1 game per week Pinto 8 – 1 to 2 games per week, Mustang 9 – 2 games per week Mustang 10 – 2 games per week Bronco – 2 games per week Pony – 2 games per week
