Post-Season League Play

Teams at the Mustang, Bronco and Pony levels may participate in postseason league play. Teams at the Shetland and Pinto levels will not.

1. Each level will have a tournament immediately following the regular season. The rules and schedule of the tournament will be determined by the League Representatives and the Board.

2. Ties for first place in the standings will be broken by results of headto-head competition. The second tie breaker would be least runs allowed on the season. The third tie breaker would be a coin flip. The same formula will apply to each tied seed in the division.

3. In these tournaments, the last two teams at each level will play a best of-three World Series. The choice of home team will be determined by a coin flip, alternating for the second game, and flipping the coin again for the third game.

4. The World Series will be considered a separate pitching week. There are no limitations as to the number of innings any one pitcher can pitch against another team in a tournament. All other pitching rules still apply.

5. The Board will oversee and supervise each post-season game.

6. Rules and procedures for the Pony League post-season play will be determined by the NSYBA.
