Patriots Travel Meeting ( Parents Only ) January 10th UPDATED!!

Happy Holidays and believe it or not…baseball is right around the corner.  Some updated and helpful information on our Full Time and Summer Travel Program for 2012.

There will be an informational meeting on January 10, 2012 at the Park Center. 

Full Time Patriots: 7:45 PM - 8:30 PM ( Lakeview Room B )   ( Parents Only )

Summer Patriots : 8:30 PM - 9:30 PM ( Lakeview Room B )    ( Parents Only )

Full Time Patriot information

• Please arrive no later than 7:45 PM. 
• Please bring a check made payable to GYB for $600 of the $1,000 fee
• The Manager (or Team Parent) will be asked to complete a form on 1/10/12 to obtain sizing for uniforms (and jersey numbers).  If you wore a Patriots uniform last year, you may want to check it for sizing before the meeting.

Summer Patriot Information

• Summer Patriots please arrive no later than 8:30 PM. 
• Please bring a check made payable to GYB for $450.  
• The Manager (or Team Parent) will be asked to complete a form on 1/10/12 to obtain sizing for uniforms (and jersey numbers).  If you wore a Patriots uniform last year, you may want to check it for sizing before the meeting.

Training

We will be handing out a training schedule at this meeting.  As noted, we heard your feedback and we have vastly improved the training program for 2012

• Periodic training will begin 1/27/11
• Each training class will be a minimum of one hour long
• More details will be provided at our informational meeting

      Tournaments

      Our Summer Patriot teams will participate in 3-4 tournaments

• 4/13 weekend - Kickoff Classic located in Glenview
• KWBA Memorial Day on Memorial Day weekend conveniently located in Winnetka and Northfield
• 4^th of July Tournament in Highland Park or Northbrook - dates are estimated at 6/27-7/1 (optional)
• Jim Christ tournament on 7/13 weekend

      The Full Time Travel tournaments and schedule will be set by the Manager.

      More information on the Summer Patriot Program

• The Summer Patriot Travel season starts in early June and ends in late July.  
• Please review the Lake Shore Feeder Baseball League (LSFBL) website (www.lsfbl.com)  for additional information on the league and the season
• Practices during the house league season will be at the Manager’s discretion and will likely be held on Monday evening.  Fields TBD.
• House League registration is now OPEN on our website.  Additionally, we will have walk in registration at the Park Center on 1/7 and 1/21 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• New Bat Rules have been posted on the LSFBL website
