Summary of Leagues
Spring House League
Buddy Ball
- Everyone gets to bat, and only two innings are played. All children hit the ball, either after it is pitched to them or with the help of a tee. No strikes are called.
- All players circle the bases and cross home plate, even if some have to be reminded where and when to run.
- The coach serves as pitcher, sometimes getting down on his knees to deliver an underhanded throw low enough for the smallest youngsters to hit.
- And no one keeps score, although some of the more competitive players insist on recording the results.

Fall Ball is NOT spring house league that happens in the fall, it's quite different. Teams are formed by individuals, and then those teams are registered (i.e. there is no general registration and drafting process). Additionally, Fall Ball is open to surrounding communities, and many of those communities gather their elite players to form teams to compete. Fall Ball competition is generally high quality travel baseball caliber. Fall Ball generally runs from early September until late October.
