Glenview Youth Baseball welcomes your team to compete in the Annual Jim Christ Memorial Tournament.

Each year the Jim Christ Memorial Tournament attracts highly competitive teams from all surrounding communities to meet in Glenview to play on some of the finest fields in Chicagoland.  A portion of the tournament proceeds goes toward local families facing financial hardships.

The tournament is considered to be in the A/B division level, which welcomes travel teams, except for elite teams that play in the top division in their league. (See the rules for more specifics).  The tournament will consist of a maximum of 16 teams in each of the 9 - 14 year old age divisions. The first round of play will consist of two or three pool games (depending on pool size). Each team is guaranteed 3 games through the weekend.

Team trophies and prizes will be given for 1st place and for 2nd place.

The tournament fee is $575.

All reasonable efforts will be made for the handling of inclement weather conditions. Rain-outs will be rescheduled as soon as possible for teams to complete the tournament. In the event that games cannot be rescheduled, fees will be returned on a pro rata basis at the discretion of the Tournament Director.

Our goal for this year’s tournament, is to have an A and B division for each age group. The tournament committee will make every attempt to place teams in those designated divisions based on information in the registration.

Both USSSA BPF 1.15 and USA Baseball stamped bats will be allowed for use in the tournament.  Barrel diameters are limited to 2-3/4" for all age groups.
