FOR AGES 6U - 8U (PINTO)

Players age 6 through 8 not playing in the Patriots baseball travel program are eligible to play in our Summer House League. Players are assigned to teams of combined ages to play generally from after July 4th through the 1st week of August with games played on Tuesday and Thursday nights (5:30pm - 7:00pm).

This is a player-pitch league complete with strike-outs and 3-out innings.  There are no walks.  Players will pitch up to four balls, at which time a coach will pitch.  This league will follow the rules of our Pinto 8 House League program.

Similar to the spring house league, all games will be played in Glenview.  Summer Ball is not a travel program at the Pinto level.

FOR AGES 9U - 14U (MUSTANG, BRONCO & PONY)

Glenview Youth Baseball will form teams at the Mustang (3rd/4th) , Bronco (5th/6th) and Pony (7th/8th) levels to play in the North Suburban Youth Baseball Association (NSYBA).  Although these teams will play against teams from surrounding communities, these are considered recreational level teams, NOT travel teams. Travel kids enrolled in the Patriot program are not eligible for this league.  This is Baseball for everybody else.

Players age 9 through 14 who are not playing in the Patriots baseball travel program are eligible to play in this Summer League. Players are assigned to teams of combined ages to play generally from after July 4th through the 1st week of August.  There will typically be two games per week, one weekday game and one weekend game.  The exact days of games is TBD.

FOR AGES 15U - 18U (COLT & PALOMINIO)

Glenview Youth Baseball will form teams at the Colt (9th/10th) and Palomino (11th/12th)  levels to play in the North Suburban Youth Baseball Association (NSYBA).

The Colt and Palomino Summer leagues are primarily for kids that are just finishing 9th/10th grade (Colt) or 11th/12th grade (Palomino).  The leagues consist of some players which are concurrent high-school baseball players, some who just played high-school JV  baseball, or others who just transitioned from Pony Baseball.  The leagues consists of teams from the Northern Suburbs, Northwest Suburbs, West Suburbs, and parks within the city of Chicago. The Summer season begins in early June and runs through the end of July.  Teams play an unbalanced schedule with teams being required to play a minimum of 12 games, while other teams can play 20+ league sanctioned games if they desire to do so.
