Glenview Youth Baseball is thrilled to now offer pre-tryout clinics for those interested in trying out for a Patriots travel team.  At this time, clinics will only be offered to registered Pinto 8 players who have interest in trying out for a 2019 8U Patriots team.

Clinics will be offered on two different dates - Saturday, March 30 from 2:00pm - 3:00pm and Sunday, March 31 from 2:00pm - 3:00pm.  Additional times may be added if there is enough interest.  The cost for each clinic is $30 if attending only one day or $40 if attending both days.  Each session will be limited to a maximum of 12 players.

These clinics are designed to prepare players for upcoming tryouts by working through drills focused on improved hitting, fielding and throwing. 

Patriot tryout clinics will be led by Michael Jahns.  Michael is a former pitcher for Northwestern University Wildcats where he led the team in ERA during his freshman and senior campaigns.  He later played professionally in the Frontier Independent League for three separate teams: the Windy City Thunderbolts, the Road Worriers and the Lake Erie Crushers.  Michael is currently a professional coach and baseball instructor for GYB's Patriot Travel teams.
