This is a player-pitch league complete with strike-outs and 3-out innings. There are no walks. Players will pitch up to four balls, at which time a coach will pitch. This league will follow the rules of our Pinto 8 House League program.
Similar to the spring house league, all games will be played in Glenview. Summer Ball is not a travel program at the Pinto level.
Glenview Youth Baseball will form teams at the Mustang (3rd/4th) , Bronco (5th/6th) and Pony (7th/8th) levels to play in the North Suburban Youth Baseball Association (NSYBA). Although these teams will play against teams from surrounding communities, these are considered recreational level teams, NOT travel teams. Travel kids enrolled in the Patriot program are not eligible for this league. This is Baseball for everybody else.

The leagues consists of teams from the Northern Suburbs, Northwest Suburbs, West Suburbs, and parks within the city of Chicago. The Summer season begins in early June and runs through the end of July. Teams play an unbalanced schedule with teams being required to play a minimum of 12 games, while other teams can play 20+ league sanctioned games if they desire to do so.
