Fall Ball Season Info

Season Starts: August 16th
Season Ends: October 5th
Playoffs: Weekends of October 11th and 18th

Typically played on Saturdays (NO scheduled games over Labor Day weekend).  Each team will have approximately 7 to 8 regular season games.

General Information

Glenview Fall Ball offers high quality, travel-caliber baseball competition to youth players age 8U – 14U.  Surrounding communities are welcome to form teams to participate in this league.  Teams can be formed independently by a single coach or collectively through an organization.  Approximately 80 teams from the North Shore and greater Chicago area participated in GYB Fall Ball last season.

Teams participating MUST play at the age they’ll play in the following Spring.  Any exceptions must be brought to the Fall League Director.

The Fall Ball season typically begins in mid to late-August and concludes in mid-October.  Games are typically played on Saturdays (NO scheduled games over the Labor Day weekend) and each team will have approximately 7 regular season games (1 double-header weekend) plus playoff games.   Games may be scheduled on Sundays if a division has more teams registered than expected. 

The team registration fees are as follows:

              1 Team               $975
              2 Teams             $950 (ea)
              3 Teams             $925 (ea)
              4 Teams             $900 (ea)
              5 Teams             $875 (ea)
              6+ Teams          $850 (ea)

All teams are required to have a full roster of at least nine (9) players in order to register.  There is a maximum of fifteen (15) players per team.  

Your team insurance certificate must be on file with the tournament director prior to the first game. You can submit this during your registration.  Your policy must have at least $1,000,000 in general liability coverage and list the following as additionally insured (certificate holders):

Bat Regulations 2025

PONY AND COLT, 13-14 year old divisions: All bats with a maximum barrel of 2 3/4” diameter, a maximum length of 34 inches, with a maximum differential of -8, and a Stamped BPF of 1.15 will be allowed. All BBCOR bats meet these standards. USA Baseball and USSSA stamped bats meeting these size and weight standards are allowed.

MUSTANG AND BRONCO, 9U through 12U: All bats with a maximum barrel of 2 3/4” diameter, a maximum length of 33 inches, a maximum differential of -12, and a Stamped BPF of 1.15 will be allowed. USA Baseball and USSSA stamped bats meeting these size and weight standards are allowed.

8U: All bats with a maximum barrel of 2 3/4 ” diameter, a maximum length of 33 inches, a maximum differential of -13 and a Stamped BPF of 1.15 will be allowed. USA Baseball and USSSA stamped bats meeting these size and weight standards are allowed.
